Welcome to our final newsletter for 2025!
Thank you for supporting our Biggest Christmas Banquet last Wednesday evening. It was such a joy to see our community come together, slow down, and share meaningful time with one another. I was especially encouraged by the way each year level contributed—through Chapels, our Advent Calendar, and the Banquet—bringing to life the true meaning of Christmas.

Our Year 6 Graduation last night was another wonderful celebration, and we look forward to our ELC Graduation on Thursday morning at 9:30am. Today at 2pm, we will hold our final assembly online. This season reminds us that growth and change are a natural part of life. It is in these moments that we learn to support one another and celebrate together.

Farewells

This year, we say goodbye to several valued members of our Bethany Christian School community:

• Mrs Emily Bondarenko has resigned to spend more time with her family. Emily was our founding ELC Director, and her leadership and care have shaped the foundation of our Early Learning Centre.
• Mrs Nicole Row has been part of Bethany for over 16 years, serving in a variety of teaching roles with kindness and willingness. We deeply appreciate her contributions to our community.
• Mrs Sharon Andrews is semi-retiring as she moves to the coast. Sharon began her journey with Bethany as a parent and has faithfully served in many roles over the years, leaving a lasting impact on students and staff.
• Mr Peter Wyten is retiring after decades of involvement with Bethany. Peter has been part of our story since 1981, when the school first began. He was a founding parent and board member, later joined our maintenance team, and continues to bless us as a grandparent in the school.

We are profoundly grateful for the dedication, love, and countless contributions these staff have made. Their legacy will continue to inspire us for years to come.

I pray that you and your family experience the love, peace, and joy of Christmas and find time to enjoy some fun together. I also pray for God’s provision, safety, and a blessed start to 2026.
