Bethany Christian SchoolMENU
Welcome to Week 3!
It has been a busy and exciting start to the term, with our Reception to Year 4 students participating in the Water Safety Program. The program has been a great success, and it has been wonderful to see students developing their confidence and water safety skills.
A special congratulations to our youngest learners, our Reception students, for whom this was their very first school swimming experience. They embraced the opportunity with enthusiasm and courage, and we are incredibly proud of them.
NED Show
Last Friday, our students had the opportunity to attend the NED Show, which focused on the important resilience messages of Never Give Up, Encourage Others and Do Your Best.
The highly engaging performance used impressive yo-yo tricks and interactive storytelling to reinforce these valuable life skills. Students thoroughly enjoyed the show while learning practical strategies to help them persevere, support others and strive to do their best in all they do.
Car Parking and Traffic Reminders
We have recently seen an increase in concerns regarding vehicles blocking access to our driveways near both the front and back oval Kiss & Drop zones. To ensure our car parks remain safe and accessible for families, staff, deliveries and emergency access, please note the following:
• Vehicles are not permitted to wait in the Kiss & Drop zones before 3:10pm.
• If you arrive before 3:10pm, please continue through the car park and complete another loop.
• After 3:10pm, vehicles may wait for up to two minutes before moving through and completing another loop.
• If the Kiss & Drop zones have reached capacity, drivers are asked to continue through and re-enter when space becomes available.
This will help keep traffic moving efficiently and reduce congestion, ensuring safe access for both incoming and outgoing vehicles. Where possible, we encourage families to enter the car park after 3:10pm, as traffic typically moves much more quickly after this time.

Thank you to the many families who continue to use our car parks responsibly and drive with care around our school. Your cooperation helps keep our community safe for everyone.
We wish you a wonderful week ahead with your families and pray that you stay warm and well.
God bless you,
Debbie Clifford
Deputy Principal
Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.

Christian Schools Australia (CSA) are excited to announce that the 2026 Christian Schools Community Profile: Parent Survey is now open for all parents of our school to complete. This is the only national survey of its kind that is specifically designed for Christian school communities and seeks to gather key information regarding the perceptions, levels of satisfaction and priorities of Christian school families as well as their demographic profiles and the way families engage, support and interact with their local Christian school communities. It will be conducted amongst all families with children enrolled in participating Christian schools.
We would like to encourage all parents to complete this important survey. The survey will be conducted online and will only take 15-20 minutes to complete. The survey can be accessed at any convenient time within the fieldwork period on desktop computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones.
All parents of our school community can access the survey via the following link: https://research.orima.com/CSAParents/start.php?u=cLm8bGz6
All responses to the survey are anonymous. The survey will be conducted from Monday 3 August to Friday 28 August 2026.
Please do not hesitate to contact Karen Penna if you have any general queries about the survey.
Thank you for your valued input into our Christian school community and Christian schooling across Australia!
