Bethany Christian SchoolMENU
Welcome to Term 4
We’re excited to begin our final term of 2026! We hope you had the opportunity to relax and enjoy some quality family time over the school break.
New Primary Playground
We were delighted to open our new playground space for Primary students this term. This exciting addition was made possible through a generous State Capital Grant of $65,000, along with the playground competition prize awarded to us by Kompan. Our students have thoroughly enjoyed exploring and playing in this wonderful new space.
Road Safety and Car Parking
We have been in contact with Salisbury Council regarding road safety and traffic management around our school. To help keep our students safe and ensure smooth traffic flow, we ask families to please arrive for afternoon pick-up after 3:10pm, as students are dismissed at this time.
This is particularly important around the Sports Centre entrance, as it helps keep our car parks accessible for our ELC families.
Christmas Celebration
Term 4 is always a special time as we reflect on the incredible growth and achievements of our students throughout the year. To celebrate, we are preparing for our Christmas event, "Christmas: Just the Beginning". Students have been busy rehearsing with their teachers, and we look forward to sharing this special evening with you.
Upcoming Events This Term
We have a number of excursions, celebrations, and special events planned throughout the term, including:
Mini Olympics – Friday 23 October 2026
Christmas Celebration Concert: Christmas: Just the Beginning – Wednesday 2nd December 2026
Year 6 Graduation – Tuesday 8 December 2026
Final Day of School (Reception to Year 6) – Wednesday 9 December 2026
ELC Graduation – Thursday 10 December 2026
For the latest updates and information, please visit our website.
We will also hold our Final Assembly to celebrate the year together. The assembly will be livestreamed and recorded, allowing families to join us live or watch together at a later time.
More information regarding all upcoming events will be shared throughout the term.
Wishing you and your family a wonderful term ahead and a restful weekend.
God bless you,

Welcome to Term 4!
I hope you all enjoyed a restful and enjoyable school holiday break and are feeling refreshed for what promises to be a busy and exciting Term 4. There are many wonderful learning opportunities in the excursions and special events planned throughout the term, and we look forward to sharing these experiences with our students and families.
This week, our Year 4 students will participate in their much-anticipated Year 4 Camp. Students will spend the day learning in Botanic Park and the Adelaide Botanic Garden before returning to school for an overnight camping experience on site.
Next week promises to be just as exciting. Our Junior Primary students will take part in the Mini Olympics on Friday 23 October. Year 6 students will enjoy an excursion to the Space Discovery Centre and Government House on Tuesday 20 October, while our School Choir will showcase their talents at an after-school choir performance on Wednesday 21 October.
Market Day 2026 – Save the Date!
Friday 13th November | Week 5
We are thrilled to announce that our annual Market Day will be held later this term! Hosted by our enthusiastic Student Representative Council (SRC), this much-loved event takes place during the lunch break and is always one of the highlights of the school year.
Students in Years 3-6 will have the exciting opportunity to operate their own market stalls, selling a variety of homemade and second-hand items to students from ELC to Year 6. Please note that food and beverages will not be sold.
If your child would like to make a purchase or two, we kindly ask that they bring cash in a sealed and clearly labelled envelope. Classroom teachers will keep envelopes safe until Market Day begins. Items will be priced between 50 cents and $10, making the event both affordable and enjoyable for all students.
Our SRC students have already begun planning and preparing for the day. Their leadership and dedication will no doubt make this year's Market Day a memorable success.
Parents and caregivers are warmly invited to join us for the festivities. Stalls will be open from 1:00pm to 1:30pm, providing an opportunity to browse, support our students, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. We kindly ask that families encourage students to manage their own stalls and purchases independently wherever possible.
Market Day has become a treasured school tradition, celebrating creativity, student agency, and initiative. We look forward to another fun-filled afternoon and hope to see many families there.
Wishing you and your family a wonderful week ahead.

We’re excited for a fantastic day where our Junior Primary students can come together, enjoy some friendly and fun competition, and showcase their developing athletic and team skills.
The event will be held on Friday the 23rd of October (Week 2, Term 4). Activities will take place on the school oval and courts.
Families are invited to attend. All visitors will be required to sign in at the various sign points (at the classroom in the morning or an identified point on the oval). Further information will be provided regarding this.
Students will take part in the day with their class and may wear their team colours on the day.
We will be using the online platform ReadyGo for live in house scoring throughout the day. There is no need to create an account - a guest code will be provided closer to the event or just after so families can access all relevant results.
All additional details about the day will be shared to families via email. Please keep an eye out for further updates.
We look forward to a wonderful day of energy, enthusiasm, and school spirit.
