COVID-19 Student Information

Thank you for your patience and support as we navigate the complexities of schooling in this time.

After receiving enquires about at home learning we have considered the needs of students and parents, as well as the health and wellbeing of staff to establish the following:

  • If your child is ill or you as carer are too ill to support your children, no work at home is required.
  • It is best to allow your child the opportunity to rest and recover.
  • There is no need to return your overdue library books while isolating, please ignore any notices until they return.

For children who are isolating but are well we are providing the following:

  • A link from the Department for Education.  This has quality work that your child can access. It is in line with the types of activities that are going on in class. It is established in year levels and subjects to make it easy to use. Teachers will not be requiring this work to be brought to school.
  • R-2 Passwords for Mathseeds, Reading Eggs and ERA Publications will be emailed to parents.
  • 3-6 Can continue using Sumdog (Maths App). Passwords were emailed to parents at the beginning of the term.
  • A reminder that Year 6 students already have access to their class work on Google classroom. The students know how to access that.

Please be aware we will not be providing an online learning platform as the workload is unrealistic for teachers to manage online with face-to-face teaching and staff absences. Please do not email teachers requesting work at home as they may not be available to respond.

We thank you for your understanding and pray for health and rest for you and your family and look forward to your child’s return to school.
